Equity Research Analyst

We are seeking several full time equity research analysts to help us identify leading and accurate insights from our grassroots intelligence gathering and pitch high-conviction ideas to clients.

Woozle Research is an independent equity research firm that provides highly specialised and custom research to institutional investors. We use primary research to deliver exclusive, leading, and differentiated insights sourced directly from subject-matter experts to help clients gain a deeper understanding of their investments and realise greater returns.

 

Responsibilities

As part of our global growth and expansion, we are looking to recruit an Analyst in our London Office to help capitalise and expand on our strong growth across both our research offering and client base. Reporting directly to the Managing Director at Woozle Research, you will be responsible for analysing qualitative and quantitative information on companies and produce written primary research reports aimed at equity investors.  

The newly created Equity Research, Analyst role will be responsible for:

  • Collating, organising, and analysing qualitative/quantitative information.

  • Writing equity research reports and presenting findings comprehensively

  • Updating and keeping track of news flow on specific companies including earnings releases.

  • Answering client queries on data both over the phone and in person

  • Suggest updates to survey questionnaires based on company and industry news and developments

  • Identify and research new companies to cover

  • Cultivate a new business development pipeline to grow client coverage

  • Pitch innovative new product offerings to our clients

 

Requirements

Successful candidates will possess the following:

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

  • Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university

  • Eligible to work in the UK

  • Competency at report writing including presentation, formatting, editing, producing charts and graphics

  • An excellent eye for detail, quality and consistency, to ensure the highest possible professional standards for reports

  • A proven track record in managing and completing multiple projects to tight deadlines whist still maintaining quality

  • Be driven and ambitious with the motivation to take on additional responsibilities should the opportunity arise

  • A minimum of 6-month experience in investment banking (Equity Research, M&A) asset management or consulting firms is required.
